On July 30, 2025, a seminar titled “Advanced Manufacturing: Inkjet-printed Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE)” was held at the meeting room of the Advanced Materials Technology Institute Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
The seminar focused on advanced technologies in the field of electronic manufacturing, particularly the application of inkjet printing techniques in the fabrication of flexible hybrid electronic (FHE) devices. This cutting-edge approach integrates printed components with traditional microelectronics, enabling the production of lightweight, flexible, and bendable devices — with promising applications in healthcare, smart technologies, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
The keynote speaker, Prof. Martin Bolduc from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), Canada, presented his latest research achievements, including innovations in integrating printed materials with traditional circuits and the commercial potential of FHE technologies in the near future.
The seminar attracted significant interest from faculty members, researchers, PhD students, and undergraduates in the field of Materials Science, creating valuable opportunities for learning, academic exchange, and development in inkjet printing technology.
