VNUHCM develops Research program on rice varieties adapted to climate change

On June 5, 2025, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) organized a workshop titled "Discussion on Developing a Research Framework for Climate Change-Adaptive Rice Varieties at An Giang University." The workshop recorded many practical contributions and discussions, aiming to research and develop high-quality rice varieties suitable for specific ecological zones.

Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City Showcases Semiconductor Microchip Products at the “Advanced Packaging and Testing Technology: Opportunities for Vietnam” Workshop

On March 14, 2025, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) hosted the workshop "Advanced Packaging and Testing Technology: Opportunities for Vietnam." Within the framework of the workshop's side activities, VNUHCM organized an exhibition of semiconductor microchip products with the participation of the University of Technology, the University of Science, the University of Information Technology, and the Institute of Nano Technology.

Sustainable Development of the Mekong Delta

On the morning of June 16th, at the VNUHCM Administration Building, a seminar to provide feedback for the draft framework of the national program “Science and technology to respond to climate change for sustainable development in the Mekong Delta, period by 2030” took place. Mr. Le Quang Thanh – Head of Department of Social and Natural Sciences, Ministry of Science and Technology, was in attendance.
