They are Dr. Ha Thi Thanh Huong and Ms. Nguyen Ho Thuy Linh (MSc) among the 10 young scientists honored. The Award Ceremony took place on the evening of October 27 in Hanoi, jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

On November 24, 2023, at the Vietnam Academy of Science & Technology (Hanoi), the L’Oréal – UNESCO For Women in Science Awards program held a ceremony to award the Outstanding Female Scientist Award in 2023 to 3 Vietnamese female scientists with high potential research projects in the field of Materials Science and Life Science.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai – Vice President of University of Science, VNUHCM was presented with the 2021 Kovalevskaya Award for female scientists with exceptional achievements in scientific research and practical application that better human life.

Associate Professor Dr. Le Thi Kim Phung, a lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, is the only female scientist in Asia to receive the 2022 The Hitachi Global Foundation for Best Innovation.
