On the morning of February 7, 2025, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City organized a seminar to collect feedback on the draft Law on science, technology, and innovation. The event aimed to effectively implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, issued by the Politburo on December 22, 2024, which focuses on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

During the seminar, scientists provided numerous comments and suggestions on the draft law, expressing their hopes and expectations that the revised Law on science and technology would establish a favorable legal framework to drive scientific advancements.

Experts also pointed out that the draft law was compiled before the issuance of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and, therefore, does not fully reflect its spirit. As a result, they emphasized the need for a new draft version aligned with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and further public consultations.
