On June 27, 2024, Prof. Colin Barrow – Deakin University, Australia had a visit and give a talk in Seminar for Researchers and PhD students with the topic “Nanobiotechnology for Sustainable Bioproducts” at the Institute for Nanotechnology, VNUHCM.
Prof. Colin Barrow is an outstanding scientist in the fields of biotechnology and chemistry, currently holding the Chair of Biotechnology at Deakin University and Director of the Center for Chemistry and Biotechnology (CCB). The professor has about 130 published scientific articles and many patents. His current research mainly focuses on two areas: biotechnology (Omega-3 manufacturing, amyloid fibers) and nanomaterials. The professor leads a dynamic research team at Deakin University, including 8 PhDs and 14 PhD students. His research not only significantly contributes to advancing scientific knowledge but also contributes to solving global health and environmental challenges through the field of advanced biotechnology. .
