4.0 smart classroom model with artificial intelligence (AI) application
Introducing a cutting-edge solution tailored for modern pedagogy in the context of Industry 4.0 revolution: the Smart Classroom Model. This innovative platform boasts a myriad of features designed to elevate teaching practices with key functions facilitating classroom management including student registration, class list organization, comprehensive student management, seamless leave request handling, meticulous attendance monitoring, rigorous safety protocols, and remote control of classroom devices via both web and mobile interfaces.
This significant stride towards modernizing classroom dynamics promises to revolutionize classroom management, offering educators enhanced efficiency while providing valuable insights into student progress. Furthermore, students are afforded with the opportunities to engage with a suite of Industry 4.0 technologies, including artificial intelligence, virtual assistants, and the Internet of Things.
Harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (AI), this state-of-the-art system employs facial recognition technology to seamlessly identify both students and lecturers, while also utilizing QR code scanning to verify vaccination statuses in adherence to COVID-19 prevention protocols. By integrating AI technologies into smart classrooms, students are afforded early exposure to, and hands-on experience with, digital tools, fostering the development of essential digital skills and igniting curiosity and motivation for future learning endeavors. Furthermore, this multifaceted system extends its AI capabilities to Vietnamese language processing and voice recognition, featuring intelligent virtual assistants capable of providing insightful responses to career guidance inquiries and specialized terminology inquiries in the finance sector. 1. Potentials for technology transfer and collaboration
This versatile product boasts practical applications suitable for deployment in a range of educational settings. Beyond universities, high schools can utilize its features to manage science and technology laboratories and classrooms that enable students to engage with technology while enhancing classroom management efficiency. Furthermore, both public and private education and training centers stand to benefit from implementing smart classroom solutions, enriching student experiences with technology as well as monitoring the movement of all individuals entering and exiting specific classrooms and school premises.
As of now, a part of the product has been implemented for attendance management at University of Economics and Law, VNUHCM since March 2022, concurrently serving as a tool to manage student return procedures and mitigate COVID-19 risks.
Furthermore, the product has been showcased and introduced at the Artificial Intelligence Training Center of the Information Technology Park of Viet Nam National University, Ho Chi Minh City since 2021. Plans are underway for the product’s transfer to the Dong Quan Foreign Language Center in Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City.
