Conference “Developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) Human Resources” in 2024
On December 24, 2024, the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM), the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, and the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, organized the Conference “Developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) Human Resources” in 2024 at Hall I, University of Science, VNUHCM (227 Nguyen Van Cu, Ward 4, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City).
The conference was organized with the aim of sharing knowledge and experience from experts, researchers, agencies and units in need of using AI human resources in Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, the conference also discussed the results of the implementation of the Program “Research and development of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in Ho Chi Minh City in the period of 2020-2030” in the recent past and proposed directions and solutions for the next stage.
The Conference Organizing Committee received 44 papers from 70 authors from 24 organizations in Vietnamese and English.

– Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Vu, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Science, VNUHCM;
– Dr. Hoang Le Minh, Director of the Center for Technology Application and Artificial Intelligence, Van Lang University;
– MSc. Nguyen Minh Huan, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications;
– MSc. Nguyen Thi Thu Suong, Head of Science Management Department, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology;

A large number of lecturers, trainees, students of universities and colleges; young officials, intellectuals, young scientists; interested in the issue of technology development, digital transformation application in agencies, businesses, schools attended the workshop and actively participated in the discussion.
The workshop “Developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) Human Resources” has practical significance in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution, when technology is increasingly becoming the core driving force for socio-economic development. In particular, the workshop is a foundation for Vietnam to continue to improve its competitiveness, towards the goal of sustainable development and international integration in all fields.
