On March 14, 2025, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) hosted the workshop “Advanced Packaging and Testing Technology: Opportunities for Vietnam.”

This forum aimed to connect Ho Chi Minh City leaders, local authorities, universities, international experts, and leading domestic and international semiconductor microchip enterprises to discuss strategic directions, human resource needs, and crucial cooperation opportunities for the development of the microchip packaging and testing industry in Vietnam.

The workshop’s outcomes will contribute to building a sustainable semiconductor technology ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general.

Within the framework of the workshop’s side activities, VNUHCM organized an exhibition of semiconductor microchip products with the participation of the University of Technology, the University of Science, the University of Information Technology, and the Institute of Nano Technology.

The units showcased 22 semiconductor microchip products at the exhibition, with diverse applications in various fields such as radar, satellites, 5G networks, satellite broadcasting stations, electronic warfare systems, computing, signal processing, control, biomedicine, surveillance, alarms, and ground stations.

The exhibition attracted significant attention from the attending delegates.
